I downloaded and enabled the Google Fonts module, but this comes up.

However, I am still unclear on how I can solve this problem.
I see that I can also use Google web fonts as external stylesheets to my theme by adding it the template.php.
What code do I add to the template.php? I have the options of standard, @import and javascript. --
Hi Delaney, I believe this was an issue last year. The good news is you have not done anything wrong, the bad news is that our server configuration does not work with Google fonts. Unfortunately the fix here is probably 'try another font hosting service'. I believe Font Squirrel works with Sheridan IT configuration, alternatively Typekit might. Regardless, good on you for looking into this. If anyone can find one of the services that works with @font-your-face and works with our IT configuration, please post a reply here (and score some participation marks). – Greg. --

I tried out the @font-your-face. and enabled all the font options such as Font Squirrel API, Fonts.com and Fontdeck. However when I tried to enable more fonts with font squirrel and the following occurred:
So instead of going through Font Squirrel, I decided to download the different fonts that I selected and imported them. After you have chosen your fonts and downloaded them (my files were in TTF format):
Go to configuration> click on @font-your-face-settings (under User Interface)
Click on the "IMPORT LOCAL FONT" top right corner.
Choose the font file according to what format it is in and fill in the CSS font family, CSS font style and weight.
All fonts are managed under "Appearance". All your imported fonts should be there and you can choose your css selector such as using that specific font for H1 or for the body.
Click on Edit and tick of the Enabled box at the bottom.
